We are part of a fun swimming club for dogs. Open from April to October, we aim to provide fun exercise and socialisation for dogs. We are NOT hydro-therapists.

We offer a variety of sessions for dogs of all water confidence levels from 14 weeks of age, including solo sessions, groups and dock diving.

Our doggy lifeguards are fully qualified to teach your dog/s how to swim and build their water confidence.

We operate in compliance with the CFSG Code Of Practice For Canine Recreational Swimming Pools

Our pool measures 32x15ft and 52" deep (~132cm).

All sessions will have a qualified doggy lifeguard present in the pool to ensure the safety of your dog/s.

All group sessions are open to other members of the public, please choose a solo swim option if you wish for sole use of the pool.

Solo Swim: (Price: £32 - 1x dog. Additional dogs £12.50 per dog)

• For ages 14 weeks and above.

• Suitable for all water confidence and skill levels.

• First time visits should use the this option, the pool surroundings can be unfamiliar and a dogs swimming capability must be assessed before group sessions are used.

• Perfect for those wishing for sole use of the pool in a private session, or wanting 1 on 1 support from our trained doggy lifeguards.

• Maximum 4x dogs per session.

Puppy Group: (Price: £16 per dog)

• For puppies aged between 14 weeks and 6 months.

• For all confidence and skill levels.

• A gentle introduction to water, featuring shorter swims, with frequent rest breaks.

• Puppies MUST have received all their vaccinations.

• Maximum 3x dogs per session.

Senior Group: (Price: £16 per dog)

• For ages 8 years and above.

• A slower paced session, great for dogs with limited mobility. Dogs MUST be cleared for swimming by their vet if they have sustained or are recovering from an injury or ailment.

• Maximum 3x dogs per session.

Dip And Dive: (Price: £16 per dog)

• For ages 6 months and above.

• This session focuses on dock diving, with our ramp remaining at a raised height.

• Perfect for adventurous pups who love to make a splash.

• For confident swimmers and jumpers only. DO NOT book this session if your dog has not swum with us before.

• Maximum 3x dogs per session.

Breed Specific Groups (Labradors, Spaniels + Retrievers): (Price: £16 per dog)

• For dogs 6 months and above.

• For friendly and sociable Labradors, Spaniels or Retrievers who love to swim.

• Crossbreed minimum of 50% allowed.

• Maximum 4x dogs per session.

Size Specific Groups: (Price: £16 per dog)

• Small/Medium Group: For dogs under 18kg.

• Medium/Large Group: For dogs 18kg and over.

• For friendly and sociable breeds who love to swim.

• Maximum 4x dogs per session.

• Do not feed for up to 3 hours before and after swimming.

• Keep nails are trimmed short to avoid damage to the pool liner.

• Ensure dogs are up to date on their vaccinations or titre tested.

• Encourage toileting before entering, bags and bins are provided on site. Please note, you may be charged if your dog toilets in the pool resulting in the cancellation of the following session.

• Dogs recovering from injury/ailment/surgery must be cleared for swimming by their vet.

• Wait at least 48hrs after applying topical medication such as flea and worming treatment.

• Refrain from taking your dog into other water sources, as this could bring algae or bacteria into the pool. If this occurs, please hose down your dog with clean water before entry.

• Please inform us if you wish to be excluded from our social media, we cannot control the release of photographs taken by other customers on site.

• Inform staff of any history of reactivity, nervousness or biting, or they are on the dangerous dogs list.

• Send proof of insurance and registration if your dog is on the restricted breeds list.

Absolutely! You are welcome to join your furry friends in the pool (16+).

Please note, we may limit entry to the pool in full group sessions for safety.

We have a large selection of toys available from balls, to Frisbees, tug toys and more. However if your dog has a special attachment to a specific toy, then it may be useful to bring along as encouragement.

Our pool is unheated and therefore fluctuates based on ambient temperatures. Our temperature can range from 12-23°c.

We advise against booking puppies for a swim during the cooler periods of the season. Caution must also be taken with seniors, single coated breeds, small/toy breeds, and dogs recovering from injury or ailment.

Our pool is within an enclosed paddock and a leash is not required inside.

However to reach the enclosed site, dogs must be leashed when exiting the vehicle at the designated parking area and walked up the access path.

Yes, the use of water specific shoes and crocs are permitted in the pool, please rinse off in the foot wash basin before entering.

Wetsuits are permitted, we have a few spare suits available for use, please contact us for sizing.

Yes, they are allowed to use the pool.

Bookings cannot include dogs outside of their household. You will be asked to book a solo session for the pool. Dogs must be on a 1 to 1 handler ratio.

Dogs must remain muzzled and on lead until you are inside the paddock with the gate securely closed.

Insurance and registration is required upon booking. These can be emailed to admin@pawsatthejunction.com

You must inform us before your appointment of any history of reactivity, nervousness or biting, or they are on the dangerous dogs list.

This may not immediately exclude your dog, however we must ensure the safety of our staff and other customers, you will be asked to book a solo session.

In an emergency a staff member may need to touch your dog, if you feel your dog may be aggressive in this situation then unfortunately we are not suitable for you.

Any signs of aggression during a group session will result in you being asked to leave.

Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the session with full refund. Cancellations made after this will still be charged at the full rate.  Please note you will not be refunded or rescheduled for a late or no show.

If, for any reason other than our own, you turn up at the wrong time, to the wrong session, you will still be charged at the full rate.

We still operate in the rain. If you wish to reschedule or cancel because of rain or bad weather and are inside of the 48 hour cancellation policy, you will still be charged.

You can reschedule your appointment 48 hours or more before your session via your confirmation email. If you wish to reschedule within 48 hours of your session, you will still be charged at the full rate.

This does not affect any of your statutory rights.
