With trained doggy lifeguards present at all times to ensure the safety of your pup/s.

There's nothing better than climbing in with them too, so don't forget your towel if you fancy a dip! (16+)

Our Services

  • Solo Sessions

    Exclusive use of the pool in a 1 to 1 session. Ideal for nervous, reactive or unsociable dogs, or those wishing for sole use of the pool.

    First time swimmers should use this option, the pool surroundings can be unfamiliar, and a dogs swimming capability must be assessed before group sessions are used. (Excluding the puppy group).

    Price

    £32 for 1 dog, add up to 3 additional dogs to this session at £12.50 per dog. Additional dogs are booked at the same time by selecting one of the ‘Add On Options’.

  • Puppy Group

    A gentle and calm introduction to water, with short swims with frequent rest breaks.

    Booking with others gives the added benefit of socialising and the more timid tend to get braver when watching the more adventurous!

    For ages 14 weeks to 6 months.

    £16 per dog (Maximum 3x dogs).

    Note: Puppy groups will not run during the cooler periods of the season, we advise against booking them into a solo swim during this time.

  • Senior Group

    For older dogs seeking gentle exercise in a calmer and less stressful environment. Great for dogs with limited mobility.

    Dogs must be cleared for swimming by a vet if they have sustained or are recovering from an injury or ailment etc.

    For ages 8 years and older.

  • Dip And Dive (Dock Diving)

    The ultimate challenge for water loving dogs and perfect for those who love to dive. With a raised ramp for maximum air-time.

    Dogs MUST be comfortable jumping from a raised height. The ramp will remain raised for the whole session.

    For ages 6 months and over.

  • Buddy's Pool Party (Breed Specific)

    Do you have a Labrador, Spaniel or Retriever? (50% minimum cross breed allowed)

    Why not join one of our breed specific groups! It’s a splashing time where up to 4 dogs can enjoy the water together with toys.

    Perfect for energetic and sociable dogs who love the water and are confident at swimming.

    For ages 6 months and over.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

BY CONFIRMING A BOOKING YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE READ AND AGREED TO OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS. PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY.

We are NOT hydro therapists. We are a dog swimming club with the sole aim of providing fun exercise and socialisation. No medical advice given. 

Owners are responsible for their dogs AT ALL TIMES.

Payment must be made at time of booking.

Before Your Session:

  • Ensure your dog meets the minimum age requirements. These are: 14+ weeks (solo session), 14 weeks - 6 months (puppy group), 8+ years (senior group) and 6+ months (all other groups).

  • All dogs must be fully vaccinated or titre tested.

  • Please refrain from taking your dogs into any water source before your appointment as they could bring bacteria or algae into the pool. If your dog is dirty, please hose them down before they enter the pool. 

  • Please ensure your dog does not eat up to 3 hours before swimming.

  • All dogs MUST have their claws clipped short to prevent punctures to the pool liner. Entry may be refused if your dog has sharp claws.

  • Please wait at least 48 hours after applying topical medication such as flea and worming treatment.

  • Dogs with injuries, health problems or recovering from surgery must have permission to swim from your own vet.

  • Please inform us at the start of your appointment if you do not wish to be included in any social media about your session. We have no control over the release of photographs being put on social media by other customers visiting the dog pool.

  • Restricted breeds are allowed.You must book a solo swim option, and provide proof of registration and insurance before your appointment, these can be emailed to us at Caninedipanddiveplymouth@gmail.com

  • You MUST inform us if your dog has a history of biting, is reactive, or unsociable, or on the dangerous dogs list. This does not preclude you from coming, it is simply to ensure the safety of staff and customers and so you will be advised to book a Solo Session.

During Your Session:

  • Dogs must not be pushed, shoved or thrown into the pool. Anyone doing so will be asked to leave.

  • If you choose to enter the pool with your dog, you do so at your own risk.

  • A 1 minute swim equates to a 4 minute run for your dog, therefore they will not and should not be encouraged to swim for more than a maximum of 25 minutes.

  • The ramp is for dog use ONLY. Please do not use this to enter/exit the pool.

  • Your half hour session includes time taken entering and exiting the pool. You and your dog must exit the pool swiftly at the end of your session to allow for access to the pool for the next class.

  • Children under 16 are not allowed in the pool.

  • No smoking is allowed inside the pool enclosure.

  • You are responsible for clearing up after your dog. Poo bags are available onsite if you forget your own. If your dog toilets in the pool, please be aware that there may be a charge if the following sessions need to be cancelled.

  • If your dog shows active aggression and/or physically causes injury to staff, customers or other dogs, in any session, you will unfortunately be asked to leave and not rebook until the behaviour has been rectified.

  • Any dog booked into a group session showing signs of aggression to others will be asked to leave.

Cancellations Policy And Adverse Weather:

  • Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the session with full refund. Cancellations made after this will still be charged at the full rate.  Please note you will not be refunded or rescheduled for a late or no show.

  • If, for any reason other than our own, you turn up at the wrong time, to the wrong session, you will still be charged at the full rate.

  • We still operate in the rain. If you wish to reschedule or cancel because of rain or bad weather and are inside of the 48 hour cancellation policy, you will still be charged.

  • You can reschedule your appointment 48 hours or more before your session via your confirmation email. If you wish to reschedule within 48 hours of your session, you will still be charged at the full rate.
